Jig Patterns:

When I gear fish this is the only pattern I use. It is a copy of one of my fly patterns that is very effective. I tie them in purple, olive, pink, black, white, chartreuse and orange. I range the weight form >1/4-1/2oz. Heads for different water speeds and water conditions.

D.r.P.
Hook: Jig 90° Bend
Head: Nickel/Tungsten bead tied on w/ brad or nail

Tail: buck tail
Body: rabbit strip
Collar: pheasant rump

Great all around jig. The three different materials act differently in various water speeds. Great for tail outs that turn to fast riffles, because the action changes so much.
