Fly Tying for the Beginer: click here to expand First I would like to discuss materials, materials are our paint to the art we choose. They are the abuntdant in shape, sizes and colors. There si so much out thier that even the expert fly tyer is not aware of, I will do my best to list and explian the materials from the local store selection to the high priced rarities that someone might use.
Here I will try to explain some of the most basic patterns and how to tie them. I am still a novice in my eyes so explaining from a begginer perspective shall be easy for me. The next steps are to walk the tyer through four pattern types; dry,wet,nymph,streamer. I will throw in tips that will help in the next lessons that will follow. I will also do my best to explian some other useful techniques that should be aquired early on.

This will walk the tyer through some more patterns and some techniques that can be use as the tyer sees fit Patterns will have variant routes that can be explored farther, this will open the tyers mind to how to create thier own patterns and variants.

This will act as a guide to the most basic steelhead patterns, including marabou flies and stringleeches.
It will try to show the tying helpfull techniques to tie producitve durable patterns which the tyer can then fish
with confindence.
